Recently, an international seminar was held in China in order to improve technical soccer skills of Chinese women’s teams and youth teams. A JFA coaching staff from Japan said:“Developing football should avoid the misunderstanding of only paying attention to the performances of national teams. The development of football should be ‘to make it a sport for people’.”

The JFA has three visions for development. The first is to commitment to the popularization of football, making it a sport for people in their daily life and creating a happy living environment. The second is to improve the level of football, bringing courage to people through the performances of the Japanese team in the world. The last is to adhere to the idea of fair competition and to encourage people to live in harmony, making contributions to the development of the international community.

Under the guidance of the three visions for development, Japan men’s national team and women’s national team have got a few trophies.
